I am incredibly blessed to have the privilege of coming to a job everyday that I love and where I feel like I get to help make a positive impact on the lives of students. When I start thinking of the things I am thankful for, the families and staff at BFA are always near the very top of my list! Thank you for the support you give your students and their teachers each day. Something very special happens in this building and I am glad to be a part of it!
Here's news for the week:
Sixth Grade:
I had fun listening to stories about Outdoor Ed. adventures. It was great to see happy and tired faces on Friday. I'm so glad they had gorgeous weather and a great trip.
This Thursday they will participate in BFA's first ever Mediterranean Fair. This fair is a result of the school deciding to have grade levels rotate between science fairs and social studies fairs. I'm so excited to see the students' projects. Mrs. Stolk has requested some help with the feast associated with this fair. Please use this Sign-up genius link to sign up to help:

Seventh Grade:
Seventh grade is excited for their field trip to the Symphony on Thursday.
Eighth Grade:
The students really enjoyed the career fair last week. It sounds like they were able to get a lot of useful information.
A couple of weeks ago, I sent out a request for pictures for the Graduation iMovie/slideshow. We need 3 pictures from each of you:
- A baby picture
- A kindergarten age picture
- A non-school 8th grade picture
It typically takes several months to put this movie together, so we'd like to have these before break. So far, I have received pictures from two students. Please email the photos to me this week, so we can start getting this highlight of Graduation started.
