Parent Teacher Conferences:
Parent Teacher Conferences are this week. They will take place from 4:15-8:00 pm on the 4th and 6th of October. We do not do a traditional "sign-up" for conferences. Middle School conferences are "drop-in" conferences. All of the middle school teachers will have tables in the gym, and you may visit with as many or as few of them as you would like. Conferences will be limited to ten minutes, so teachers can speak to as many parents as possible.
A Fall Break Challenge:
The Middle School teachers have made every effort to make this break a true break with no homework or projects assigned over break. Students should continue to read everyday just as a good habit.
I'd love to see what all of our awesome families are up to over break. So I am posing a challenge for each student. If your child sends me a photo of an activity over break, with an email explaining how they relaxed with their families, I will give them a homework pass. The homework pass can only be used for homework that is less than 20 points. It can only be used once, but can be used for any class. This is also a little read only being offered to those of you who read the blog :)
I'm excited to see what everyone is up to. I will be traveling as well, so I will not have my computer and will have limited access to email until I return on the 16th. I will answer each email when I get back.
It is our hope that everyone enjoys this time of relaxation and rejuvenation. We will hit the ground running on the 17th!
